Tina Reames was educated at the University of New Mexico. She began her architectural internship working for her former Presidential Scholarship sponsor, Bill Fanning at Fanning Bard Larsen, AIA LTD. Tina started with Cherry/See Architects part-time, while still in graduate school. She pioneered the use of computers, AutoCAD and established AutoCAD standards for the office. Her Master of Architecture degree included an emphasis in Landscape Architecture.
Tina was made partner in 2006 after 14 years with the firm. Her strengths lie in her ability to work with people – during the programming process through construction. Tina’s positive attitude, patience and fairness help her to maintain good working relationships with clients, consultants and contractors.
Tina is also the New Mexico State Intern Development Program Coordinator, a position she has held for the past four years. In 2009, she received a Certificate of Appreciation from the American Institute of Architects New Mexico Chapter for her exemplary leadership. She is available to all interns for help in becoming licensed, a responsibility she takes seriously and cheerfully.
