Stephen has a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of New Mexico (UNM), and graduated with his Master of Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc).  Steve initially started at Cherry/See/Reames Architects (CSR) in 2005 and left for graduate school in 2007. Steve returned to the firm in 2013 and is now an Associate Architect in the firm.  Steve’s role at CSR ranges from Programming and Schematic Design through Construction Documents and Construction Administration. Steve is versed in a number of 3-D modeling programs including Revit and will assist with BIM development within the office for all future projects.

Steve is heavily involved with academics at UNM. He is a Part-Time Faculty member in the Architecture department at UNM, as well as the Faculty Advisor for the UNM Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIAS) and the Faculty Advisor for the Freedom by Design group at UNM. Steve is also a Co-Founder of the Center for Research in Advanced Fabrication + Technology (CRAF+T) at UNM. His design strength stems from his varied interests ranging from Industrial design and fashion design to fabrication of complex assemblies.
